Lenient Judges – Judge Gabriel Hutton

Here is Judge Gabriel Hutton. He is a judge who seems to think that the abuse of children is not a serious enough crime to warrant a custodial sentence. He fails to understand the long lasting impact these evil offences have on the young and vulnerable child survivors. The sentences are quite simply a insult to the victims involved. JUDGE Gabriel Hutton retired on April 11 2003, from a law career that lasted 47 years

Judge Gabriel Hutton you are hereby NAMED AND SHAMED !

JUDGE Gabriel Hutton retired on April 11 from a law career that lasted 47 years

Judge Gabriel Hutton once freed a man who had subjected an eight-year-old girl to a series of sex attacks.

The 65-year-old judge, who lists his hobbies as shooting and fishing, told the court: “It seems on the evidence that this child has not suffered as a result of these offences.”

In another case, he allowed a man who had sexually assaulted a nine-year- old boy to walk free. He gave the fiend two years’ probation on the grounds that he ”needed a chance to get over his problems”.

In March 2001, Judge Hutton jailed 46 year old John Wooler for just 18 months for abducting and indecently assaulting a 14 year old girl he met through an Internet chatroom. Wooler was released after just 9 months

In August 2001, A SEVEN day child rape trial had to be abandoned because jurors were given photographs they should never have seen. The trial of self-confessed paedophile Andrew Compton, who lived in Swindon when he was on bail, came to an abrupt halt when the wrong photographs were given out. The mistake cost the taxpayer around £50,000 the average cost of running a crown court trial for seven days.

Dismissing the jurors, Judge Gabriel Hutton told them: “A complete disaster has occurred. “It is very unfortunate and the only thing I can say is that a wrong album of photographs was put before you. “In these circumstances all the counsel and I agree that we just cannot go on with the trial. “None of you should have seen the album of photographs. You can probably work out what has gone wrong.

A man who was cleared of rape after a complaint that judge Gabriel Hutton fell asleep at his trial later raped two other young women.

Judge Hutton told the jury:
“I am not aware that I did. I think I was well aware of what he was saying to you. But if in fact I gave the impression of not listening to what he said, it would be unfair to the defendant to allow the case to go on.”

Lee Woodward subjected two teenage girls to violent sex attacks almost identical to that described by the woman he was cleared of raping in 2001. Woodward was later jailed indefinitely by another judge who said he presented “a serious, enduring and deep threat to women.”

Judge Hutton suspended 23 MONTHS of a two-year jail term for an attempted rapist. The lorry driver who broke into a nurse’s home and tried to rape her was given a light jail sentence so his ONE month behind bars could be counted as annual holiday from his job.
