Judge Peter Fox – Teeside

Here is Judge Peter Fox. He is a judge who seems to think that the abuse of children is not a serious enough crime to warrant a custodial sentence. He fails to understand the long lasting impact these evil offences have on the young and vulnerable child survivors. The sentences are quite simply a insult to the victims involved.

Judge Peter Fox you are hereby NAMED AND SHAMED !

Below are some examples and quotes of some of his more questionable judgements

October 2008 – Married Sharon Edwards, 40, was told by Judge Peter Fox, Teesside’s most senior judge, that a boy of 14 seduced her, and handed her a suspended jail sentence. Stockton mother-of-two Sharon Edwards was spared jail yesterday, even though her barrister conceded she faced several years behind bars for her crimes. Edwards, who admitted four charges of sexual activity with a child and one of offering to supply class A drugs – cocaine – to the boy, was said to have been “a sad and lonely housewife”

July 2009 – Jonathan Kent, 21, was given a suspended prison sentence even though his own barrister conceded he was likely to be jailed for his sexual relationships with girls aged 13 & 15. Teesside’s most senior judge, Judge Peter Fox, spared Kent a prison sentence after being told the girls were not virgins. The 15 yr old girl refused to have sex initially, but after they shared a drink, she agreed to go with Kent to a secluded spot in the grounds of Teesdale School. When she later discovered Kent was sleeping with the 13-year-old, the older girl threatened to report it to the police, and she was given £80 to keep quiet

April 2011 – JUDGE FOX has sparked fury by freeing a paedophile — after saying his 13-year-old victim had seduced HIM. Twisted David Barnes, 24, encouraged the teenager to perform intimate acts while he watched on a webcam. Police investigating the case also found the pervert had downloaded more than 600 vile pictures and videos on his computer. One showed the rape of a five-year-old girl while she was handcuffed . Judge fox told Barnes: “I accept it has been a dreadful shock to your mother, to your father and to your grandmother and to those others who have known you.“And in addition (to the images), there was your perverted activities over the internet with the 13-year-old, who, I accept, appears to have seduced you.”

August 2001 – Mark Eyles, 23, a former worker at the Dolphin Centre, in Darlington, was given an 18-month suspended sentence at Teesside Crown Court. He admitted six charges of indecent assault on girls under 16, and one charge of indecency with a child under 14. Judge Peter Fox described them as “silly girls”, and reproached good-looking Eyles for accepting their advances.

June 2010 – A paedophile who offered young boys money to take part in sex acts has been spared a jail sentence. Keith Sunderland, 58, had twice been jailed for committing sex offences against young boys. He was sentenced bu Judge Fox after admitting four counts of indecent assault on a child and one charge of indecency with a child. Judge fox added “Were you in good health even now I would be sending you to prison, but I am not going to do that.”
