Paedophile who abused teenager in Maidenhead in early 2000s jailed
A paedophile who “preyed on a teenage girl for his sexual gratification” has been jailed for six years.
Aaron Woodford, 43, of Gwinear, Hayle Cornwall, carried out the attacks on the girl in Maidenhead in the early 2000s.
He was convicted of two counts of indecent assault, one count of gross indecency, one count of non-penetrative sexual activity and two counts of penetrative sexual activity.
He was jailed for six years, added to the sex offenders register for life and has been given an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
Woodford was charged by postal requisition and jailed on Friday, July 10.
He denied the charges but was found guilty after a five-day trial at Reading Crown Court which finished on Friday, July 3.
