A HORRIFIED mum walked in to her daughter’s bedroom to find the 13-year-old girl in bed with a man, Lincoln Crown Court was told.
The mum had decided to investigate after hearing laughing from the girl’s room.
Jeremy Jaines, prosecuting, said the mother was not prepared for what she was about to witness and was shocked when she walked into the room to find her daughter in bed with 20-year-old Roy Anderson.
“The mother was somewhat gobsmacked by what she saw,” said Mr Jaines.
“The defendant and her daughter had their clothes on but were in what could be described as a compromising position. He was between her legs although they were not actually having sex.”
After Anderson left, the mum checked her daughter’s diary and discovered an entry which revealed the girl had lost her virginity to Anderson a few days earlier.
Mr Jaines said: “The girl was asked about the contents of the diary and said it was correct.
“She said she had sex with Anderson on two occasions. It occurred in her own bedroom.
“The first occasion was when her parents were out shopping at Asda late at night.”
Anderson was living in Grantham at the time of the offences, but now lives in Ranglon Road, Bromley, Kent.
He admitted two charges of sexual activity with a child in January this year.
He was jailed for 30 months and placed on the sex offenders’ register for life. He was also banned from making any contact with the family.
Judge Sean Morris told him: “Your victim was a child of 13 at the time. You knew this was wrong and you knew her age.”
Jonathon Dee, defending, said: “There was no force or coercion used.”
