A paedophile who abused two teenagers in Sheerness has been jailed.

Sam Crawley was arrested after two victims came forward to report offences that had taken place four years earlier.

An investigation was launched and revealed that Crawley had subjected his victims to repeated incidents of sexual abuse between 2015 and 2016.

The 45 year old was arrested in May 2019 and was later charged. He denied any wrongdoing.

Following a trial, Crawley, of Church Road, Eastchurch, was found guilty of nine counts of sexual assault, causing a person to engage in non-penetrative sexual activity without consent, and two counts of assault by penetration.

He was sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday 16 October 2026.

He is also subject to indefinite restraining orders and a Sexual Risk Order.
