Rapist sentenced to eight years

A man convicted of raping a woman at a property in Toxteth has been jailed for eight and a half years.

Mohammed Benradi, 27, a Moroccan national of Hatherley Street, London, was sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court on Wednesday, 21 October.

The woman reported the rape on Saturday, 23 November 2024.

Police enquiries, which included a CCTV appeal, led to Benradi’s arrest and charge. He was subsequently convicted of rape.
