Man admits bestiality charge after being coerced into having sexual activity with a dog

A man from Inverness who was caught by paedophile hunting team ‘Wolf Pack Hunters’ last year has admitted a bestiality charge after teaming up with another man and having sexual activity with a dog.

Peter Gladstone also took and kept pictures of himself and the animal, Inverness Sheriff Court was told.

Gladstone, 20, had been remanded in custody since July 16 pending the outcome of the case and background and psychiatric reports were called for.

Gladstone, formerly of Rosehaugh Road, formed an online relationship with the man who then encouraged him into committing the vile act.

The incident is said to have happened between May 5 and June 17 last year at Gladstone’s home.

Gladstone also pleaded guilty to possessing extreme pornographic images of himself and the dog.

Sheriff Fleetwood told Gladstone: “This time you have spent in custody is punishment enough.”

Gladstone was placed under three years of social work supervision and ordered to participate in a sex offender’s programme.
