Ayrshire hospital worker caught with horrific child abuse images and videos including kids as young as two

The Ayrshire perv had over 5,000 sick images

A hospital worker from Irvine has been jailed after being caught carrying around USB sticks filled with horrific child sexual abuse and beastiality videos.

Christopher Anderson was arrested at his desk in the records department at Ayrshire’s Crosshouse Hospital for hoarding over 5,000 images of children as young as two-years-old being abused.

The 29-year-old was also caught with images of adults engaged in sex acts with dogs after police raided his home in Irvine and seized his laptop and found the ‘extreme pornographic material’.

Twisted Anderson was put on the Sex Offenders Register and a strict Sexual Offences Prevention Order to protect the public from him.

The perv also kept thousands of images on his phone and even carried two USB drives around with him that were crammed full of abuse files.

He was arrested at his work and taken to the police station to be question – where officers discovered the laptop files were just the tip of the iceberg due to his mobile phone and his memory sticks.

The details emerged last month when Anderson pleaded guilty over his sordid stash during a hearing at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court.

He pleaded guilty to three charges – making child abuse images, possessing the illicit files, and being in possession of ‘extreme pornographic material’ by having beastiality files.

During the hearing it emerged that he had a previous conviction for the hoarding images from 2011 but was spared prison and punishment over the files and was placed on probation.

And the fact that he began hoarding images again in March 2012 and built up his stash for five-and-a-half years until being caught in September 2015, meant he was still satisfying his warped desires to see children being abuse when he applied for and got the NHS job.

Sheriff Alistair Watson blasted Anderson for his actions and told him he was facing a lengthy jail term.

As he adjourned the case for background reports and a risk assessment to be carried out, Sheriff Watson said: “On any view the number and nature of images in this case renders this to be a disgusting and debase course of conduct by any individual which would require the court to consider whether a considerable custodial sentence would be required.”But this is made worse by the fact in 2011 you pleaded guilty to an analogous offence.

“You were placed on probtation for three years.

“You go on, over a number of years, to offend in the same way – it’s intolerable.

“It is highly likely you will receive a custodial sentence and highly likely that is of a significant length.”

And, when Anderson returned to the dock to learn his fate, Sheriff Watson followed through on his threat of a jail term.

He caged Anderson for 22 months, reduced from 24 as he admitted his guilt, and said: “The number and categorisation of the images is very serious – some related to children as young as two years of age.

“In my view there’s no alternative but to send you to prison.”

He also placed Anderson on the Sex Offenders’ Register for 10 years and made the subject of a five-year-long Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO).

The SOPO requires him to inform Police Scotland’s National Offender Management Unit about all his internet-abled devices, give them his usernames and passwords and bans him from deleting or altering his internet history, text and chat logs.

He is also banned from having any contact with anyone under the age of 17 and has to inform police if he has a relationship or makes friends with someone who has a child aged 17 or under.

Irvine hospital worker caught with more than 5000 child sex abuse images

A former hospital worker is behind bars after being caught with a haul of child sex abuse and bestiality images.

Christopher Anderson, 29, who worked in the records department at Crosshouse Hospital, had over 5000 images of children as young as two-years-old being abused.

He was also caught with images of adults engaged in bestiality after police raided his home in Irvine and seized his laptop.

Twisted Anderson also kept thousands of images on his phone – and even carried two USB drives around with him that were crammed full of abuse files.

He was arrested at his work and taken to the police station to be questioned – where officers discovered the files were just the tip of the iceberg due to his mobile phone and his memory sticks.

The details emerged on Monday when Anderson appeared in the dock at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court to plead guilty.

He pleaded guilty to three charges – making child abuse images, possessing the illicit files, and being in possession of “extreme pornographic material” by having bestiality files, between March 2012 and September last year.

He admitted his guilt after the date he began making and possessing the files was changed from being March 2004.

Procurator fiscal depute Peter Moyes said officers found a total of 4957 still images and 195 films across the four devices, many of which were at the most extreme level, and he was also found to have four still images featuring adults involved in bestiality.

Sheriff Alistair Watson blasted Anderson for his actions and told him he is facing a lengthy jail term, before remanding him in custody ahead of sentencing and placing him on the Sex Offenders’ Register.

As he adjourned the case until next month and called for background reports, Sheriff Watson said: “The number and nature of images in this case renders this to be a disgusting and debase course of conduct.

“It is highly likely you will receive a custodial sentence and highly likely that is of a significant length. I wish a full risk assessment to be carried out in relation to you.”
