A man has been jailed after child pornography was found on his laptop computer.
A court heard how Clive Lipton had more than 200 indecent images of young girls.
At Chelmsford Crown Court Lipton, 32, of Harwich Road, Colchester, was jailed for eight months after he admitted charges of possessing and making indecent images of children.
He was also banned from working with children aged under 18 for 25 years and put on the sex offenders’ register for ten years.
Matthew Bagnall, mitigating, said there was no question of Lipton distributing any of the material found. He added: “He has expressed remorse for this and wants to put it behind him and get on with his life.”
