Flasher admits indecent exposure to ‘get a reaction’
A MAN in his late 20s exposed himself to girls as young as 14 telling a group of them: ‘I bet you like this, don’t you?’ Stuart Daley, aged 28, also targeted adult women in the flashings, which took place between January and June.
On Friday Warrington Crown Court heard how he would pull his trousers down and shake his penis at his victims.
Daley, who is living at Linden Bank Hostel in Sandbach, was caught after he exposed himself to three 14-year-old girls in an alleyway off Marsh House Lane, Orford.
One of the girls telephoned her mum who came to walk the trio home. En-route they spotted Daley and confronted him.
He was arrested the next day, June 26.
He admitted exposing himself to the group of 14-year-olds and a 27-year-old woman near St Elphin’s Church on May 27.
“He said it was not for sexual gratification but to get a reaction,” said Joanne Parsons, prosecuting.
Daley also admitted six further exposures – four to girls aged around 14, and two to women aged 18 and 31.
Police found a mobile phone on him that had been stolen in a burglary on June 1 at Pinders Farm Drive, Orford.
Daley entered the house through an open window, stealing five mobile phones and a purse, Miss Parsons said.
“These were disgusting offences you committed over the course of this year,” said Judge David Hale.
Daley was sentenced to a three-year supervision order and a 12-month condition of residence at a hostel.
He must register his address with police for five years and complete a sex offenders’ programme.
