Evil rapist Colin Blackwell was jailed for ten years after what a judge described as “a horrific catalogue of abuse” on a schoolgirl.
Blackwell, 59, began offending when the child was eight years old. She is now 17.
He pleaded guilty at Basildon Crown Court to five sample counts of rape and four of indecent assault.
Blackwell, of Fleetwood Avenue, Westcliff, was said to have interfered with the girl on so many occasions that she lost count.
Prosecutor Stephanie Farrimond said the girl begged Blackwell to stop having sex with her. Despite her protests he carried on.
The victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, described to her pal how Blackwell had raped and molested her. Blackwell was questioned by police and later arrested.
Judge Michael Yelton said: “This was a horrific catalogue of abuse.”
