Tunbridge Wells paedophile jailed

A TUNBRIDGE Wells paedophile who covertly took indecent images of young girls has been jailed for three years.

Robert Walter Clark from Beulah Road, 60, pleaded guilty to possession, making and taking indecent images of children.

He was arrested in March following information provided by the Child Exploitation Online Protection centre. He later pleaded guilty to 21 offences.

Clark was found with 13,876 images ranging from levels 1-5, level 5 being the most serious sexual abuse images.

His Honour Judge Patience said the images showed “vile acts of cruelty and depravity against young children”.

Clark was sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court yesterday.
