Wakefield Man Jailed For Child Sex Offences

A man has been jailed for five years for child sex offences. 

Daniel Hudson, 35, from the Lupest area was found guilty of five sexual offences against the young victim.

He was sentenced at Leeds Crown Court on Thursday for the offences and was given five years behind bars.

The court heard that all the offences took place at an address in Leeds.

The trial heard that Hudson had befriended the victim, plying her with gifts of food to make her believe she was in a relationship with him when in reality he had groomed her for sexual activity
