Man jailed for rape and other sexual offences against children

A paedophile from Banbury has been jailed for rape and other sexual offences against children.

David Ruddick, aged 56, of Christchurch Court, was sentenced to 12 years in prison, plus an extra four years on licence, at Oxford Crown Court yesterday 

He pleaded guilty to two counts each of rape and causing a child to engage in sexual activity, and one count each of indecent assault, sexual assault, causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, and causing a child to watch a sexual activity at a previous hearing at the same court on 31 June.
