‘Depraved’ child rapist paid woman to find his victims
A ‘depraved’ predatory child rapist and the young woman he paid to groom his vulnerable victims have been jailed for a total of more than 13 years.
‘Dangerous’ Tristan Goodwin was willingly assisted in sexually abusing children as young as 12 by Angel Fuller over a two-year period.
Goodwin, 24, committed sex offences with a child on at least three occasions between May 2021 and January 2022 after 19-year-old Fuller had arranged for them to meet with him.
Fuller later took another child to meet Goodwin, who went on to rape them.
The pair, both from Chatham, Kent, were eventually caught and arrested in May 2022 and have now both been jailed after admitting to their ‘appalling’ offences at Maidstone Crown Court.
Goodwin was jailed for eight-and-a-half years, whilst accomplice Fuller was imprisoned for four-and-a-half years.
Investigating officers had additionally discovered that Goodwin had also groomed two children in 2020 after making contact with them on social media.
Officers found he had persuaded the ‘young, vulnerable’ children to send him indecent images and meet him on occasions when he sexually assaulted them.
Goodwin was charged with:
Raping a child,
Two counts of arranging the commission of a child sex offence,
Two counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity,
Two counts of paying for the sexual services of a child
Possession of indecent images.
Fuller, meanwhile, was charged with:
Aiding and abetting the rape of a child
Two counts of arranging the commission of a child sex offence.
