‘Depraved’ child rapist paid woman to find his victims

A ‘depraved’ predatory child rapist and the young woman he paid to groom his vulnerable victims have been jailed for a total of more than 13 years.

‘Dangerous’ Tristan Goodwin was willingly assisted in sexually abusing children as young as 12 by Angel Fuller over a two-year period.

Goodwin, 24, committed sex offences with a child on at least three occasions between May 2021 and January 2022 after 19-year-old Fuller had arranged for them to meet with him.

Fuller later took another child to meet Goodwin, who went on to rape them.

The pair, both from Chatham, Kent, were eventually caught and arrested in May 2022 and have now both been jailed after admitting to their ‘appalling’ offences at Maidstone Crown Court.

Goodwin was jailed for eight-and-a-half years, whilst accomplice Fuller was imprisoned for four-and-a-half years.

Investigating officers had additionally discovered that Goodwin had also groomed two children in 2020 after making contact with them on social media.

Officers found he had persuaded the ‘young, vulnerable’ children to send him indecent images and meet him on occasions when he sexually assaulted them.

Goodwin was charged with:

• Raping a child,

• Two counts of arranging the commission of a child sex offence,

• Two counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity,

• Two counts of paying for the sexual services of a child 

• Possession of indecent images.

Fuller, meanwhile, was charged with:

• Aiding and abetting the rape of a child

• Two counts of arranging the commission of a child sex offence.

Goodwin will serve a further four years on licence under terms of an extended sentence.

Fuller was jailed for receiving money to introduce and bring children to Goodwin.

Both have also been made the subject of sexual harm prevention orders and were added to the Sex Offenders’ Register for life.

Around 2,000 ‘damning’ messages sent between Fuller and Goodwin in as little as three months detailed ‘a variety of arrangements for sexual activity’.

They showed Fuller not only acted at the ‘behest’ of Goodwin but that she also instigated conversations about girls she could manipulate for him, the court was told.

Following their arrests, police found details under what was called ‘Angel Earn List’ setting out prices for various sex acts, including what Fuller was paid for sex and a second set of figures to be paid to other girls plus her cut.

Over a period of 16 months between January 2021 and the day of the rape in May last year, the warehouse operative paid Fuller almost £5,000 for ‘sexual contacts and arranging sexual contacts’

One girl was paid a total of £915 over several months and the other £440.
