Sex offender from Hyson Green abused 11-year-old girl on multiple occasions

A paedophile has pleaded guilty to multiple charges of indecent assaults on a girl.

John Harris, 66, of St Paul’s Terrace, Hyson Green, attended Nottingham Crown Court on bail on Thursday (April 13).

He pleaded guilty to eight counts of indecent assault. They involved the same victim, who was 11 years old, and the touching and molseting was in intimate areas.

Two of those eight charges referred to indecent assaults “on at least 10 occasions” on each.

Harris, who needed a walking stick to assist him, wore black clothing and used a hearing loop to listen to his case.

Sentencing was adjourned until June 2 – because his dog needs rehoming and he has a house which needs to be looked after.
