County Durham man jailed for 10 years over sexual activity with child
A County Durham man has been jailed for committing a sexual offence against a child.
Paul Cranston was given a ten year prison sentence for carrying out sexual activity against a child
The 54-year-old, of Stanley, County Durham, appeared at Durham Crown Court on Friday, February 3, to be sentenced for one count of sexual activity with a child.
He had been found guilty of the offence after a trial on December 8.
Sentencing Cranston, Judge James Adkin, the Recorder of Durham, handed him a 10-year prison sentence and made him subject of an indefinite sexual harm prevention order.
Cranston will also be on the sex offenders’ register for an indefinite period
