Hereford sex offender Roy Millist jailed for seven years
A Hereford sex offender has been jailed for seven years for sexually assaulting a “defenceless young woman over a sustained period of time”.
Roy Millist, who is 71 years old and from Hereford, was sentenced at Worcester Crown Court to seven years in prison following his conviction for three counts of sexual assault by means of penetration.
Millist was found guilty in October of offences he committed between 2018 and 2021. His conviction followed a lengthy and thorough investigation by a team of detectives based in Hereford.
As well as the seven years in prison, Millist has been handed a lifetime restraining order in relation to the victim.
