Pervert photoshopped children’s heads on sexual photos

A grandfather found with 1,000 child abuse images also photoshopped children’s heads onto sexual photos.

And officers also discovered that the vile 75-year-old had covertly taken photos of a teen sunbathing in her bikini.

Lyn Kemp’s home in Cardiff was raided by police on May 12 last year after receiving intelligence images of children had been uploaded to his Skype account.

Upon being told what he was accused of, he said “Yes I know, I have seen it on my computer”.

Kemp admitted viewing images of children aged between 12 and 16-years-old but further images depicted a girl as young as three-years-old being raped by a man.

A sentencing hearing at Cardiff Crown Court on Tuesday heard 1,357 images had been discovered om a Samsung mobile phone, a Dell desktop and a Toshiba laptop. Of these 144 were of category A, the most serious classification.

Prosecutor Kat Jones also told the court that extreme images were also found on Kemp’s devices including an adult having sex with a horse.

Twenty-one videos were also discovered, eight of which were category A.

Websites known for child abuse images were bookmarked, file cleaning software had been used and access to the dark web had been enabled.

The most shocking discovery was of images which had been photoshopped by the defendant using innocent pictures of children, the heads of which had been photoshopped onto images of a sexual nature.

It was also revealed he had taken a picture of a teenager without her knowledge while she was sunbathing in her bikini. When asked about these images, Kemp told police “I thought I had deleted everything”.

Kemp, of Manor Rise, Whitchurch, pleaded guilty to possession of indecent and extreme images, making indecent images and recording a private act for purpose of sexual gratification. He has no previous convictions.

Sentencing, the Recorder of Cardiff Judge Tracey Lloyd-Clarke said: “Those who view and possess and create illegal images of children are not committing victimless offences. The trade contributes to the abuse of children. Sometimes these images are referred to as child pornography but these are child abuse images, that is what you are watching. Only an immediate custodial sentence can be justified.”

Kemp was sentenced to a total of four years imprisonment. He was also made subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) and a restraining order indefinitely and ordered to sign the sex offenders’ register for life.
