Man guilty of abusing young boy

A pervert has been convicted of various offences, both physical and sexual against a seven year old boy

James Cameron Storey, 22 of Rockwell Green, Wellington appeared at Taunton Crown Court where he was found guilty of:

• Two counts of sexual contact of a child aged under 13

• One count of physical assault of a child aged under 13

The court was told that the offences took place during the last few months of 2020 and the beginning of 2021 when Storey was aged 20 and the victim was seven

Unemployed Storey, who currently lives a few hundred metres from a primary school abused the boy several times using the threat of violence to silence the victim. 

During one assault, the victim suffered bruising. 

Storey will return to court to be sentenced in October 2022
