Victim praised by police as man convicted for indecent assault and attempted rape
On Monday 25th April a 43 year old man from the Dundonald area was sentenced at Laganside Crown Court for a number of offences including indecent assault on a female and attempted rape.
The victim in this case, whose anonymity is protected, suffered years of abuse at the hands of David Andrews who pleaded guilty and was subsequently sentenced to three years imprisonment, suspended for two years.
He will also be placed on the Sex Offenders Register for 10 years.
