Maidenhead pervert’s jail appeal refused
A Maidenhead pervert who tried to reduce his jail time has seen his appeal thrown out.
Daniel Palethorpe was jailed at Reading Crown Court on January 17, 2022 after he was convicted of two sexual offences.
The 29-year-old, of Cadwell Drive, was guilty of attempting to incite a child aged under 13 to engage in penetrative sexual activity and attempting to cause a person under the age of 16 to watch a sexual act.
He received a prison sentence of 30 months for these crimes and was handed a sexual harm prevention order.
Palethorpe appeared at the Court of Appeal on July 5 in a bid to reduce his sentence.
However, the presiding judge threw out the case and Palethorpe will serve the remainder of his original sentence.
