‘Monster’ Jonathan Gee from Brow Wood Road in Batley has been caged for seven and a half years for the horrific abuse of the brave girl. He pleaded guilty to two counts of sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 13.

Gee was jailed on Friday at Leeds Crown Court and handed a Sexual Prevention Order for his horrific crimes. Now, the victim’s mum, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has spoken about the impact of his horrendous crimes.

She said: “I had no idea what was going on at all, it came as a massive, massive shock to me, it affected me so much – I tried taking my own life because of it. She has really fallen behind at school, she’s having nightmares and says she can’t get his name out of her mind.

The woman said that Gee had tried to blame the girl for the assault and tried claiming issues with his mental health during the court hearings. She said: “He places the blame on everyone but himself.”

The woman is hoping that by telling this story, she can get his name out there and hold him to account for the horrible things he did. She fears there may be other victims out there.

She said: “I’ve got no words for him, he’s disgusting and a monster. I just want people to know what he has done and his name.”

The woman said Gee showed no remorse in court and smiled throughout.

Gee originally pleaded not guilty at Huddersfield Magistrates Court during but changed his plea during the trial at Leeds.
