A former pupil of a top Scots private school has been ordered to register as a sex offender after being found guilty of sexually assaulting two young boys.
Callum Morris, 18, put on a plastic glove and touched the brothers, aged 8 and 10, while babysitting for them.
At the time, Morris, of Abbotsford Crescent, Edinburgh, was a senior pupil at the city’s George Watson’s College.
The older brother said Morris would climb into his bed and assault him.
But when the boys asked their mother to change babysitters, she thought that they were just bored with Morris and continued to let him look after the boys.
The older boy finally confided in a friend and his parents were informed.
Morris claimed he had only rubbed the boys’ backs to help soothe them back to sleep after they woke up but a jury yesterday found him guilty of lewd practices.
