Paedophile jailed for child sex abuse in Stoke-on-Trent
A man has been jailed for non-recent child sexual abuse in Stoke-on-Trent.
Richard Baker, aged 56, was sentenced to seven and a half years behind bars at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court.
He admitted three counts of engaging in sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15, and two counts of sexual assault of a boy under 13. The sexual activity and assault took place in the Stoke-on-Trent area.
Baker was voluntarily interviewed in May 2020 after an allegation of sexual assault was made to the force.
Staffordshire Police began an investigation and Baker, of Park Road, Mickleover, Derby, was charged in November 2020.
He initially pleaded not guilty to the offences before changing his plea in court.
