Longbridge man jailed for 18 years for string of sexual offences

A pervert from Longbridge has been sentenced to 18 years for committing a string of sexual offences against two young children

Darren Roy Hollier, aged 52, of Culmington Road, appeared at Birmingham Crown Court where he pleaded not guilty to a number of sexual offences.

However, the jury saw through his lies and convicted him for:

  • Indecency with a male person,

  • Five counts of indecent assault,

  • One count of attempted rape,

  • Two counts of indecency with a child.

The court was told that Hollier began abusing the young boy and girl, beginning when one of the kids was aged just six. The abuse was repeated and lasted over a number of years. 

Hollier is a co-founder of Carbon Footprint Music Productions and is himself a father of a young girl

The sentences for the offences will run concurrently meaning he will serve 18 years in total.

He was told to register as a sex offender for life
