Magistrates give Swindon paedophile three-year community order
A paedophile found in possession of indecent images of children must sign onto the sex offenders’ register for five years.
Appearing before Swindon Magistrates’ Court, smartly-dressed Andrew Kendall, of Tamworth Drive, Shaw, spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth.
The 65-year-old had already pleaded guilty to making three category B indecent images of children and one count of possessing a prohibited image of a child.
He was fined £392 and made subject to a three year community order with a requirement to complete up to 40 rehabilitation activity sessions.
He must abide by a three year sexual harm prevention order banning him from using internet devices except under certain circumstances.
